While Black Friday has traditionally been more of an American event, other parts of the world have increasingly been getting in on the savings, even if they have Thanksgiving at a different time of year (or not at all). This certainly includes Canada, with all the major retailers north of the border offering deals on a wide array of products, including video games!
You won’t see as many hardware deals this year, as console makers would rather people not crush into stores amidst a pandemic, although your standard Nintendo Switch bundle is available. The deals focus more on software this year, with great discounts on recent games like Ghost of Tsushima, Watch Dogs Legion, The Last of Us Part II, and Star Wars: Squadrons. A variety of Nintendo Switch games are also on sale (a relatively rare thing), including Super Mario Maker 2 and Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
The Black Friday deals on offer are largely the same across all major retailers, but there may be occasional differences in price or availability. Multiple links have been provided for each game, so if the proper deal doesn’t show up for one of them, try another…
