Everything you need to know about the Pokémon HOME event in Pokémon Go – Pokémon spawns, egg spawns, shiny slowpoke, timed research event, Shiny Meltan, and event times

To celebrate the arrival of Pokémon Home to Pokémon Go, developer Niantic is hosting a massive celebration week to encourage trainers to try out the new service. There will be exclusive Pokémon spawns, eggs, a timed research event, and the main event features the chance for trainers to obtain a shiny Meltan.

The Pokémon Home event will be kicking off starting on November 17 at 8 AM and continues to the 23 until 10 PM in your local timezone.

Everything we know about the Pokémon HOME event

Pokémon Spawns

These are all of the Pokémon you can expect to encounter in the wild during the event.

  • Anorith
  • Cottonee
  • Diglett
  • Ditto
  • Foongus
  • Hoothoot
  • Lileep
  • Maagnemite
  • Meltan (Mystery Box)
  • Porygon
  • Remoraid
  • Slowpoke

Pokémon egg spawns

These are the Pokémon that will be hatching more frequently from 5-kilometer eggs during the event.

Raid Pokémon spawns

These Pokémon will be available as raids you can complete and can expect to see more of them popping up throughout the event.

New shiny Pokémon – Slowpoke

Slowpoke’s shiny form will now be spawning throughout the world. You should be on the lookout for them wandering around the open world, and you can expect to see them hatching from 5-kilometer eggs.

Shiny Meltan

Meltan’s shiny version is returning for a limited time. You’ll be able to get yours by opening up your mystery box, but it’s not a certain drop. Once the event wraps up, the shiny version of Meltan will go away.

Pokémon HOME event timed research

The Pokémon HOME event will also feature a timed research trainers to do as soon as the event launches. We’ll be learning more details about it once it officially releases.
